Glacier Invest wrote an article to promote its Smooth Global Growth Fund. Glacier said it is the first discretionary fund manager to use smoothing funds in its solutions. It said it is also the first to include a smooth bonus fund, that will be 100% invested offshore, while declaring bonuses in Rands. This mitigates against global market selloff and a strengthening Rand, to limit capital losses. Glacier said this fund will be used in its living annuity and endowment solutions, the Glacier Invest Real Income range and the Real Growth range, to smooth investment returns.
