The Old Mutual Foundation and Old Mutual Insure have partnered with the National Business Initiative on the Installation, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) initiative. This aims to increase job retention and job growth in IRM enterprises in the South African economy. The initiative, along with the Green Skills Plumbing Programme, works with participating Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges, to equip young people with accredited skills and workplace experience. Old Mutual concluded that it is committed to addressing youth employment and supporting the green economy.
