Hollard partnered with Spanish technology company Bdeo, a company that streamlines insurance processes, to launch a ‘first of its kind’ motor vehicle assessing system in South Africa. This will significantly speed up Hollard’s claims process. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool records damage to a car, then instantly and automatically calculates the cost of repair. Hollard said the assessment tool will be in use for at least 70% of all its Motor claims. Hollard adds that it remains committed to investing in innovations that allow the company to secure “better futures” for its customers and brokers.
