MiWay Blink wrote an article to promote its ‘pay-as-you-use’ digitally-based insurance offering, that offers clients cash back on their premiums paid, if they drive less than 2 500 km per month. MiWay says it uses GPS to count the kilometres that clients are driving, to determine the client’s risk profile and their accompanying insurance premium. This means that driving less will help clients save on fuel and insurance, especially since many people are working from home. MiWay said if people drive less, they should switch to an insurer that offers rewards for limited driving.
