Digital start-up, Swansong, has launched its Advance Care Plan, a digital Living Will service, that makes the ‘difficult conversations’ about illness, death and financial planning easier and financially efficient. Swansong was founded by South African, Dr Linda Holding, a palliative-trained doctor and Shivani Ranchod, a healthcare actuary and academic. Swansong offers virtual, guided end-of-life counselling to help clients discover, clarify and document their end-of-life wishes into a Living Will or advanced care plan. Swansong said it hopes financial planners will build this service into their practices, to help clients build fully comprehensive plans.
